However, I couldn’t be happier with Oceanpro’s Avoca fin, both in comfort and performance. Worn with a pair of Enth Degree Quick Dry Boots, they were the perfect fit with no wiggle room, allowing for maximum propulsion.
After a busy summer diving in the varied conditions of Port Phillip Bay they have performed beautifully, whether frog kicking backwards guiding introductory dives to guiding in the notorious currents associated with diving the rip, they have been a pleasure on every dive.
The Avoca fins mix finesse with power and durability, with ample flexibility in the blade combined with strong/firm sides to help stabilise your movements. The Avoca also comes with a spring heel strap allowing for easy adjustment, which I found super comfortable. It was also highlighted by a few of my students that they really liked the side clips for the additional option when removing the fins after a dive.
All in all, this is a high-performance fin at a fraction of the cost, a great allrounder that would be a fantastic addition to your kit as you begin or continue your journey underwater.”
