The pneumatically-balanced ZEO is an engineering marvel of precision, durability and comfort. Its durable chrome-plated marine brass metal valve delivers a phenomenal breathing experience, improves cold-water performance and helps recirculate moisture from exhalation to prevent dry mouth. The breathing adjustment gives the diver a wide range of control to precisely set airflow throughout the dive.
The ZEO comes standard with an in-line hose swivel, inhalation effort control, dynamic adjustment technology dive/ pre-dive switch and a super comfortable orthodontic mouth piece featuring an inline ball swivel on the hose connection to eliminate the binding that can cause jaw fatigue.
The new cold-forged, over-balanced diaphragm FDX-i first stage is environmentally sealed. The in-line design limits the pressure loss inherent in “L” type first stage designs making the FDX-i more efficient and lighter due to its compact form.
DESIGNED FOR DEPTH
Try telling an engineer that a design, any design, can’t be made… better. In our case that challenge led directly to the ZEO.
We started with the EOS, a legendary regulator known for its comfort and breathing profile and ended up with the ZEO. Like its predecessor the EOS, the ZEO is also a phenomenal breather allowing the diver extensive control over the air flow profile at any depth. It takes this design one step further however by incorporating a tough and corrosion resistant chrome plated marine brass valve that has better cold water performance and even a better breathing experience.
The all metal valve encourages the condensation of water vapour from your exhalation on the valve housing. When you inhale that condensed water vapour circulates with the airflow and helps to reduce “dry mouth” and increase the overall level of comfort. The ZEO also comes with our patented Dynamic Adjustment technology, diver inhalation effort adjustment controls, dive/pre-dive switch, swivel and a super comfortable orthodontic mouth piece.
The ZEO second stage comes paired with our new first stage FDX-i. The cold forged, over-balanced diaphragm FDX-i is environmentally sealed. It’s in-line design limits the pressure loss inherent in “L” type first stage designs making the FDX-i more efficient and lighter due to it’s compact form.
The ZEO/FDX-i combination is everything you need for a sublime breathing experience at any depth and in any environment. From the balmy tropical waters of the Caribbean to the extremes of cold water diving’s best dive sites, the ZEO will perform with reliability, consistency and comfort and makes taking your favourite regulator literally anywhere, that much easier.

Scott Prictor –
Slim line and efficient breathing coupled with the lightweight design and swivel makes breathing from the ZEO and absolute dream. The first stage is lightweight and compact but with the performance I expect from my Oceanic regulators when teaching in shallow or deep water.
Steve Skinner –
The Zeo is a great reg it is easily adjusted, has a comfortable fit and is nice and slim line. Coupled with the FDXi you cant go wrong
Would recommend to anyone looking for a new reg
Grant Bucknell –
I would like to comment on the Zeo Fdxi regulator. After having used the Eos regulator for the last few years, a move to a new reg was always going to be interesting, capped off with the fact that after 29 years of diving and instructing, I also made the move to a Din first stage. The Zeo reg I can some up in just two words, ‘love it’. It’s a light weight reg, so no jaw fatigue during long dives, that breathes very well in my opinion. The reg comes with Dry Valve Technology (DVT), for those who forget to put dust caps back in place, this stops water, dirt etc, from getting in and damaging you reg. My reg has not missed a beat in reliability, which is something I look for in a reg. I recommend the oceanic Zeo Fdxi reg for anyone wanting to purchase regs.

The First stage Looks smart in all moulded hard black rubber tightly adhered to the outer surface of the marine grade brass machined mould and housing of the internal mechanics of the regulator. Corrosion resistant chrome exposed where necessary to the 6 ports are placed in ergonomic order to hook up to the essential gear we use where we want it.
Sound connection to the Tank valve opening , the finest mesh there to prevent dust salt or dirt from entering the environmentally protected insides and smart technology of the regulator.
Firm connection to the modern designed yoke ending with knob shaped for easy grip and turning to close in on the tank valve opening or dust cap for storage. This environmentally sealed balanced diaphragm regulator breathes easily as one dives. Keeping pace with the surrounding ambient pressure.
Has 2 High Pressure ports to which I have connected a computer transmitter for wireless transmission to a wrist computer and an additional Submersible pressure gauge ( good back up for solo diving knowing tank pressure) and 4 low pressure ports two connected to my Second stage regulators, two on my right hand side and one to the low inflation hose on my left side, one port remaining for dry suit connections.
Connected into each port are maxflex hoses with higher burst rating.
These hoses are hooked up to the following:
The Zeo on demand downstream regulator Black in colour is small compact and light weight beautifully designed surrounded by silver inset design (note Oceanic label in front)
The zeo swivel makes positioning of the regulator comfortable to ones mouth and prevents mouth fatigue.
The on demand regulator has an adjustable knob to adjust the air as you need , breathing more or less effort, as you chose.
Turned down can even prevent a free flow on the surface, a venturi lever up against this knob can direct air to your mouth.
Both easily accessible.
The Second stage regulator ends with an orthodontic mouthpiece thus holds firmly with the overbite of the jaw .
Exhaled air exits neatly from the deflector below the regulator past the side of one’s face.
